Blogger put into prison

Fouad Al-Farhan was blogging some topics that critisized the Saudi Arabian government which led to his arrest in December 2007. Because many public gatherings are banned in Saudi Arabia - the only way a public sphere can exist is within the blogging community. People can have anonymous aliases and can have more freedom with their ideas.

I found out about this case from my friend who was aware of this incident in the Middle East. In particular I found it interesting on how strict Saudi Arabia is with their radical and activist media.
